Powerful yet easy-to-use signal analysis tools

We offer a wide range of signal analysis options, including software for post-processing, source estimation, real-time analysis for display and real-time analysis for feedback/control in BCI/BMI applications.

Post-processing software

By post-processing, we refer to analysis that takes place after data acquisition is complete.  We offer tools for analysis of a wide range of physiological signals.  Each of the software tools below is modular, allowing you the freedom to choose only the modules you need.

BESA

Powerful EEG / ERP Post-processing and Dipole Source Modeling

BESA (Brain Electrical Source Analysis) is the most widely used software for source analysis and dipole localization in EEG and MEG research. BESA has been developed on the basis of 18 years experience in human brain research by Michael Scherg, University of Heidelberg, and Patrick Berg, University of Konstanz. BESA is a highly versatile and user-friendly Windows® program with optimized tools and scripts to preprocess raw or averaged data for source analysis. All important aspects of source analysis are displayed in one window for immediate selection of a wide range of tools. BESA provides a variety of source analysis algorithms, a standardized realistic head model (FEM), and allows for fast and easy hypothesis testing and integration with MRI and fMRI.

EMSE Suite

Modular biosignal analysis and multimodal integration suite

EMSE Suite 5.1 is a superb, modular solution for the full range of EEG / MEG and multimodal neuroimaging applications, and the capabilities of the software lend themselves to analysis of ECG / BSPM data as well.  EMSE Suite includes a set of powerful tools for source localization and combination of biosignal results with other imaging modalities, such as MRI, CT, fMRI and PET.  EMSE's modular architecture allows modules to operate independently or as a tightly-integrated suite.

g.BSanalyze

Multi-modal off-line biosignal analysis under MATLAB

(PREREQUISITE: MATLAB 6.5, Signal Processing Toolbox !)

g.BSanalyze - gtec's Biosignal Analysis software is an interactive environment for multimodal biosignal data processing and analysis in the fields of clinical research and life sciences.  The investigation of patterns and signal features of biosignals allows to observe non-invasively brain, heart- and muscle functions and dysfunctions.

On-Line and Real-Time Signal Analysis

Online biosignal analysis - in contrast to real-time analysis - means the computation, presentation and storage of signal parameters during recording with a minimum time lag.

g.FEATURE monitor (online)

In g.FEATUREmonitor, heart-, brain- and circulation parameters like HR, HRV, CFM, CSA or blood pressure are calculated during data acquisition and displayed in an easy to ready summary display.

ActiView (online)

The ActiveTwo system comes with fully-functional data acquisition and display software called ActiView.  Using the LabVIEW development tools, one can easily add on-line analysis functions to the ActiView software.  BioSemi can offers custom LabVIEW software development services on a contract basis, or you can do it yourself.

g.RTanalyze (real-time)

Real-time biosignal processing library for use with Simulink. The implemented functions are used for advanced data pre-processing, parameter extraction and classification.
