The MultiAmp Calibrator generates sine- and square-wave signals for use in the functional testing of bioelectric signal amplifiers. It has both high- and low-level outputs. The high-level output (1V or 5V peak-to-peak) is intended to connect to the amplifier via a signal attenuator or directly to the input of an A/D converter. The low-level output (50 or 250 microvolts peak-to-peak) is intended to connect directly to the amplifier input via an appropriate interface cable. The high-level output uses a BNC connector while the low level output is available on three color-coded tip jacks. The Calibrator has three front panel controls for adjusting the frequency of the signal from 0.1 to 400 Hz over three ranges and the size of the signal to either 50uV/V or 250 uV/5V, corresponding to the low/high level outputs. The Calibrator is small, light-weight and battery operated.
