SIMULINK
BCI2000
Does your application require real-time or on-line analysis of data AS IT IS ACQUIRED, or can you imagine a way in which such a capability might make your research more efficient and fruitful? If so, these software options may be of interest to you. Each of these applications is compatible with only a limited range of data aquisition devices, so be careful to consider this in your decision making process.
g.RTanalyze
g.RTanalyze represents a complete environment for optimized pre-processing in MATLAB. Signal processing, feature extraction and classification blocks help to design your real-time application rapidly. Code can be used for off-line and on-line biosignal analysis algorithms for fast, accurate, flexible simulations and estimations.
SIMULINK
The Highspeed Online Processing blockset is available for g.BSamp, g.MOBIlab+ and g.USBamp. The blockset allows to acquire biosignal data like EEG, ECoG, EMG, EOG, ECG into a Simulink model for further real-time processing. Therefore the device driver blocks g.BSamp, g.MOBIlab+ or g.USBamp are copied into the Simulink model and are connected to other blocks which do the signal analysis. Then the model is started and the device driver guarantees that the model is updated in real-time.
LabVIEW
LABVIEW support is now available for the g.MOBIlab+ and the g.USBamp. It supports Labview 8.6 and allows to easily create custom signal analysis experiments. The g.LABVIEWsupport allows acquiring biosignals like EEG, EMG, EOG, and ECG with LabView 8.6. Therefore the g.LABVIEWsupport block is copied into a LabView project and can be connected to any other available LABVIEW block for further signal processing.
BCI2000
BCI2000 is a general-purpose system for BCI research and development. It can also be used for data acquisition, stimulus presentation, or brain observation applications. BCI2000 has been in development since 2000 in a collaborative effort led by the Wadsworth Center, Albany, New York, USA. BCI2000 has been used to replicate or extend current BCI methods in humans, and has recently been used in a number of groundbreaking BCI studies.
