RB Series response pads
Lumina

Manual response devices for ERP, fMRI and behavioral testing

We offer two types of manual response devices: the RB Series, intended for use in ERP and behavioral testing applications, and Lumina, which is specially designed with magnetically inert materials and fiber optical signal transmission for use in the MRI environment.  Both types have a built-in microcontroller that allows the boxes to operate in modes that are compatible with a wide variety of software applications, using either USB or RS232 serial interface.

RB Series response pads

For ERP and behavioral testing applications

We offer a variety of manual response pads that are compatible with both SuperLabPresentation and a variety of other commercial/freeware stimulus delivery software programs.  These response boxes use a state of the art, low-power microcontroller to detect button presses, encode them, and send them to the serial port.  Switch debouncing is performed by the microcontroller, guaranteeing that each button-press produces only one signal.

Lumina

Response measurement for fMRI

Lumina is an fMRI-compatible response device that can be used in a variety of MRI scanners and with a variety of different stimulation programs.

  • Magnetically and RF inert

  • Compatible with E-Prime, Inquisit, MEDx, and SuperLab

  • RS-232, TTL interface, and optically isolated scanner trigger input

  • Advanced features such as reaction time timing in hardware
