BESA
5.2 BETA
A pre-release version of BESA 5.2 is now available (see download
links below). The latest version (BESA 5.2 Beta2) can be installed
without deinstalling BESA 5.1. The beta version has the full
functionality of BESA 5.2. The official release of BESA 5.2 with
slightly extended Help chapters and some minor additional features will
follow soon. Megis would appreciate any feedback from you to
support@besa.de. This BESA
version contains several main new features and improvements compared to
BESA 5.1:
New source imaging tools
In addition to discrete multiple dipole modeling that BESA is famous
for, all major distributed imaging methods are now also available in
BESA for comparison. This includes LAURA, LORETA, sLORETA, swLORETA,
sSLOFO. In addition, image-weighted distributed and discrete source
analysis can be performed. It is also possible to specify customized,
user-defined inverse distributed solutions.
Revised Top View window
Meeting a common customer demand, the Top View window in BESA has
been revised and its features extended. It is now possible to display
arbitrary montages, include polygraphic, intracranial, and source
channels in the Top View display, and to create channel overplots.
- BESA 5.2 now supports Windows Vista, XP and 2000.
- In addition, several minor improvements and changes have been
implemented, many of them based on customer feedback and requests.
