g.BSamp
Although the majority of our products are designed for use in human research, many of the technologies in the human systems are well-suited to animal applications. The unique requirements for data acquisition systems to be used in animal research include high input impedance, the ability to acquire data from multiple animals/preparations at once, the ability to integrate motion tracking and/or activity monitoring, compatibility with implanted electrodes made of platinum and other materials and more. The systems below meet these requirements and can be configured for a wide range of animal research applications.
ActiveRat
ActiveRat is an elegant solution for collecting multi-channel EEG, EMG and activity (infrared detector) data from multiple freely-moving small animals. The system architecture incorporates amplification and 24-bit analog-to-digital conversion in a single, compact unit located inside or immediately adjacent to the animal housing. Up to 32 A/D boxes are synchronized but remain galvanically isolated from each other by means of a fiber-optic data daisy chain.
g.USBamp
g.USBamp - g.tec's latest 24 bit biosignal acquisition device - is the perfect tool for recording multimodal biosignal data with highest quality. This allows to investigate brain-, heart-, muscle-activity, eye movement, respiration, galvanic skin response and other body signals. g.USBamp is USB 2.0 enabled and comes with 16 simultaneous sampled biosignal channels.
g.BSamp
The g.tec biosignal amplifier is a basic signal-conditioning element to establish biosignal data acquisition and realtime analysis from MATLAB and SIMULINK. Its user-selectable multi-channel modules allow the simultaneous recording of EEG, EMG, EOG and ECG. The stand-alone amplifier system can be equipped with 8 or 16 channels or it can be stacked to have a 32–, 48–, or 64–channel system.
